Nordica Double Six Ski Boots 2012: Designed with freestyle function in mind, the Double Six is constructed using Lightweight High Performance SEBS plastic and a high rebound PU Ether Dual-Fold Tongue allowing you to go big, spin faster, and stomp the landings clean. The new Dual-Fold Tongue Design allows the boot to feature a progressive flex, making the boot soft and reactive at first and then progressing to a stiff flex to support hard landings. This tongue design makes the 3 Buckle Concept possible, reducing the weight by about 10% compared to a traditional 4 buckle boot. Nordica utilizes their three buckle system, with the middle buckle offering excellent wrap over the instep to guarantee safe and comfortable landings. Nordica Pros like Peter Olenick, Tucker Perkins, and Justin Dorey insisted on the best in shock absorption provided by the Shock Eraser wedge, foot bed, and rear spoiler to provide the necessary dampening required when mastering new park tricks.
